Do Birds Yawn When They are Bored?

Did you know that birds yawn?  It is true!  Like people, birds are warm-blooded.   Our trigger to yawn  is when we are tired and our bodies prepare for sleep.   They sleep when they are tired and full of food. Have you ever seen a bird wake up?  They stretch and yawn before they fly off for the day.

Scientist are not sure if birds yawn when they are bored, but just in case it is true, you can have a fun birdbath in your yard to keep the birds entertained.
